Best Public & Community Library

PeerLink Initiative Uganda (PELI-U) is honoured to share Nyarushanje Community Library Best Public and Community Library 2020-2021 Award by the National Library of Uganda.

This award is attributed to PELI-U’s unique approach towards literacy promotion and for the Covid-19 prevention and mitigation measures implemented. Thumbs up to PELI-U team, household members, volunteer community based library coordinators, volunteer reading facilitators, children and parents. Together we can contribute to the revival of a reading culture in Uganda.
